Carbon-12 Docs

Carbon-12 is a Discord bot and web dashboard for Star Citizen orgs. One bot handles RSI verification, ops, ranks, member progression, awards, an org treasury, and a public roster tracker. Run it from Discord or the web console.

Getting started

1. Add the bot

Hit Add to Discord, pick your server, and authorize. The bot joins and you get a link to finish setup. New orgs start on a 14-day free trial with everything unlocked.

2. Run the setup wizard

The first time you open the dashboard, a short wizard walks you through the essentials: your officer role, which roles can manage the dashboard, your key channels (audit log, awards feed, campaign status), and your verified / unverified roles.

3. Sign in to the dashboard

Go to the dashboard and sign in with Discord. Carbon-12 reads your roles in the server to decide what you can manage, so the server owner, admins, and your chosen officer roles get in.

Verification

Members link their RSI handle to confirm they belong to the org. Verified members get the verified role, show up on the roster, and start earning progression. Redacted RSI profiles are respected on the public tracker.

Operations

Events & ops board

Schedule ops from the dashboard or Discord. Each op posts a board members can sign up on, with per-op-type banners and an after-action flow.

Dispatch

The /dispatch tool spins up a structured op session, either a real contract or a staged org drill, with an officer-only preview before it goes live.

Notices

Post bulletins to the member Quarters page with /notices or from the dashboard.

Structure & progression

Ranks & divisions

Map your Discord roles to a rank ladder and set up divisions (career paths) with their own roles and banners. Promotions can fire a ceremony embed.

XP & levels

Members earn XP for attending ops, plus optional voice and message activity XP with daily caps you control. Levels run on an exponential curve up to Lv 999, with a leaderboard.

Awards

Grant medals for campaigns, recruiting, and standout work. Awards show on the member's record and roster.

Org bank

Track your org treasury in in-game aUEC. Use /bank to deposit, withdraw (officers), and review the ledger. Mistakes are reversed, never deleted, so the books stay auditable. /bank tracker posts a live banking image you can pin; it updates on every transaction. The same controls live in the dashboard's Org Bank panel.

The public tracker & Quarters

Every org gets a public roster tracker at /tracker/your-org. Members get a Quarters page for their own profile and notices. Discord IDs never appear in public tracker data, and members can hide themselves from the public roster.

Commands

The core slash commands include /verify, /bank, /dispatch, and /notices, with more for ranks, progression, and setup. Type / in any channel to see the full set your roles can use.
